Job Summary

Toronto Community Participation Supports - North York ON (Finch & Islington Locations) Temporary 6 months Full-Time position 40 hrs/wk
Includes Weekdays Evenings and Weekends. (Mon - 8am-4pm Tue - 8am-4pm Wed - 8am-4pm Thur - 8am-4pm Fri - 8am-4pm Saturday - 8:30am-4:30pm) - Be Flexible as per needs of Programs and as per Seasonal Programming

Valid FULL G drivers license Required

Hourly Rate: $25.05 - 29.30

Start Date: ASAP

Skills Required:

  • DSW or CYS Diploma
  • Current/Valid G Drivers License
  • Computer Skills: Windows Word Excel Email etc.

Experience Required:

  • Behaviour supports
  • Medical supports
  • Supported Independent Living (SIL) supports
  • Community Participation Supports (CPS)
  • Employment and Volunteer supports
  • Supports to people who have a dual diagnosis
  • Supports to people who dont use words to communicate
  • Supports to people who experience Autism
  • Supports to people who experience FASD

Ability Required:

  • Current NVCI
  • Current First Aid/CPR
  • Able to lift 25 lbs
  • Able to perform restraints
  • Able to perform CPR
  • Able to provide personal care which may include lifting bending and/or twisting

The successful candidate will be selected based on Article 13.03 of the UFCW Toronto-York Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement.

The schedule line for this position is listed below:

(M -8am -4pm T - OFF W - 8am-4pm Th - 8am-4pm F - 8am-4pm Saturday - 8:30am-4:30pm) - every other week as per the SEASON
