DevSecOps Specialist Platform Specialist

Position Description:

Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite)

The DevSecOps Specialist / Platform Specialist will play a key role in modernizing the software delivery ecosystem by designing implementing and optimizing secure automated and scalable development platforms. The resource will support the adoption of DevSecOps practices CI/CD automation Infrastructure as Code (IaC) developer self-service capabilities and platform engineering initiatives aimed at improving developer productivity and operational efficiency.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps Platform Engineering Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or related disciplines.
Strong experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions Azure DevOps Jenkins or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform.
Experience with cloud platforms preferably Microsoft Azure.
Experience implementing DevSecOps controls and security automation.
Knowledge of container technologies and orchestration platforms.
Experience with source control platforms such as GitHub and Azure DevOps.
Strong troubleshooting automation and scripting skills.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Desired Qualifications
Experience with Backstage or Developer Portal platforms.
Experience integrating tools such as SonarQube Snyk Dynatrace ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms.
Knowledge of Platform Engineering and Internal Developer Platform (IDP) concepts.
Experience supporting AI-enabled developer productivity tools.
Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications.

CGI provides a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The compensation range is determined based on various factors including skills geographic market experience education professional licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific circumstances of each estimated salary range for this position is $60000 to $80000 CAD.
