Job Title: Developer C# Core Web API & SQL Server Experience Required: 10 Years Work Model: Hybrid (2 days a week in office) Skills: C# 4.0 4.5 Role Description Hands-on architectural design and implementation of highly scalable and reliable services. Possess a thorough understanding of the product from both a functional and technical perspective. Participate in every aspect of development and implementation working with business analysts to ensure full understanding of change implications to current business processes. Design and implement all aspects of an application including: High-performance design Coding Caching mechanisms Security and encryption State management Error logging and debugging Scalability Code reviews Development environment configuration Testing Decompose problems into solvable pieces and translate solutions into code. Determine the best technical solution for project requirements. Follow development best practices and software development life cycle methodologies throughout product development. Perform unit and system-level testing on applications. Test products in controlled real-world situations before production release. Document all tasks to enable future troubleshooting maintenance and support. Identify and assist in mitigating technical schedule and project risks. Participate in project effort estimation and delivery timeline planning. Work closely with development teams business analysts quality assurance teams and business units. Present ideas for system improvements including cost proposals. Mentor and support less experienced team members. Essential Skills: Strong experience with: C# Core Web API Development Front-end development using: HTML CSS JavaScript jQuery JSON Strong knowledge of SQL Server including: T-SQL SSRS Administration Experience using LINQ and Entity Framework. Experience developing secure web applications and applying secure coding practices. Experience writing design documents. Experience diagnostic tools to investigate and applications. Demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design. Working knowledge of software design patterns and design principles. Ability to write clean readable and maintainable code. Strong adherence to coding standards best practices and design principles. Solid understanding of cross-browser rendering and performance. Experience with varied technologies and development techniques. Experience writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Agile project development experience is an asset. VB development experience is an asset. Experience using is an asset but not required. Experience using WF WCF and WPF is an asset. |
