Dental office at Dufferin and Queen is looking for a Dental Assistant either full-time or part-time.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experienced Dental Assistant minimum of 2 years experience in a Canadian office
- Must be HARP certified
- Experience with digital radiographs
- Must have excellent communication skills and be fluent in english
- Loves interacting with people and positive upbeat personality
- Organized dependable and stays calm when things get busy
- Takes pride in creating a comfortable positive experience for every patient.
- Works well as part of a team while also being confident working independently
HOURS:
- Full-time Part-Time may be available
- Hours are to be finalized
- Clinic is open 10-7 weekdays & 9-3 Sat
JOB OVERVIEW:
- Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
- Assisting dentist with restorationsroot canals crownsbridgesveneersimplantsinvisalignfillingsextractionsandmouthguards
- Placement and removal of rubber dams
- Taking x-rays of patients teethand exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
- Using suction and swabs to keeppatients mouths clear and dry during procedures
- Taking preliminary impressions
- Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics
- Questioning patients about their medical history and recording theinformation for dentists reference
- Advising patients on dental care oralhygiene and plaque control programs
- Making patients of all ages feel comfortable beforeduring and after dental treatment
