Job Summary
Chandler is currently searching for a dynamic individual to be our fulltime Delivery Driver at our Dartmouth NS location.
Physical demands:
- Ability to perform repetitive manual material handling without restriction requiring (but not limited to) the following physical abilities: kneeling bending squatting crouching reaching standing walking pushing pulling and grasping.
- Must demonstrate the strength and aerobic capacity required for the above-mentioned work up to 8 hours each day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 5ton delivery truck in accordance with all traffic laws transportation regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pretrip enroute and posttrip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare the truck for delivery including secure loading weight distribution and completion of required paperwork to prevent product damage.
- Complete deliveries on regularly scheduled routes meeting delivery timelines and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and care.
- Safely load and unload materials at customer sites using appropriate handling techniques and personal protective equipment.
- Provide professional courteous customer service during all deliveries representing Chandler positively at customer locations.
- Plan routes and daily schedules to optimize efficiency while maintaining safety and delivery commitments.
- Monitor vehicle performance and promptly report mechanical issues or maintenance concerns.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness fuel levels mileage records and required logs.
- Return completed and signed delivery documentation to the branch for recordkeeping and billing purposes.
- Assist with ad hoc warehouse or branch duties as assigned when delivery schedules permit.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid drivers license and possess a clean driving record
- Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent or Trade Certificate
- Required to complete a security background check for special clearances
- Ability to multi-task effectively with attention to accuracy and detail
- Excellent people skills with a Can Do attitude
- Good communication skills both written and verbal along with basic computer knowledge
Salary Range offered $44561.00 to $59535.00
