Key Responsibilities May Include:

• Provide hands-on leadership by mentoring coaching and guiding employees addressing employee relations issues and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Lead and enhance safety performance on shift promoting a proactive safety culture through training accident prevention and rehabilitation programs ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Manage shift maintenance activities resolving equipment breakdowns in coordination with the maintenance team to maintain uninterrupted plant operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives on shift implementing best practices to enhance efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness across end to end operations.
• Monitor and manage the plants operational costs and yield working closely with the Plant Manager to optimize performance and contribute to the overall plant objectives.
• Address performance and attendance matters in collaboration with HR ensuring that all plant staff meet operational expectations.
• Ensure full compliance with CHEP procedures and work instructions ensuring tasks are completed accurately and in line with company standards and operational goals.

Major/Key Accountabilities:

Direct manpower materials & work activity to achieve plant output to planned levels

Manage performance on productivity quality and safety.

Direct coach train and develop team members to meet corporate strategic goals and safety initiatives.

Conduct employment interviews and ensure compliance with new hire practices.

Manage shift payroll and submission.

Direct plant operations within CHEP SHE safety guidelines for all internal external customers and contractors.

Local Safety Champion and Co-Chair of the JHSC

Collect validate & record key plant output information.

Provide leadership for continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage GRTW programs and Claims Management.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree or College Diploma Experience

Experience

5-7 years of front-line supervisory experience in production manufacturing logistics or customer service.

Experience with formal safety programs required

CHEP experience an asset.

Maintenance programs and knowledge of regulatory environment an asset

Skills and Knowledge:

Working knowledge of Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing or other continuous improvement programs are assets.

Production planning experience relationship building analytical problems solving skills strong ability to multi-task and work within a team environment.

Experience with recruitment hiring discipline and termination processes.

Computer proficiency Microsoft Office required SAP Kronos CMMS are assets Languages Required Desirable

Base pay range is $64000 - 88000 annually

Salary ranges provided take into account a wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications geographic differentials and other business and organizational needs. Responsabilités majeures/clés :

Diriger la main-dœuvre les matériaux et les activités de travail afin datteindre la production de lusine aux niveaux planifiés

Gérer la performance en matière de productivité de qualité et de sécurité.

Diriger coacher former et développer les membres de léquipe afin datteindre les objectifs stratégiques de lentreprise et les initiatives de sécurité.

Mener des entrevues dembauche et sassurer de la conformité aux pratiques des nouvelles embauches.

Gérer la paie et la soumission des quarts.

Diriger les opérations de lusine dans le cadre des directives de sécurité SHE de CHEP pour tous les clients internes externes et contractuels.

Champion local de la sécurité et coprésident du JHSC

Collecter valider et enregistrer les informations clés de sortie de lusine.

Fournir un leadership pour les initiatives damélioration continue.

Gérer les programmes GRTW et la gestion des réclamations.

Qualifications

Éducation : Expérience de baccalauréat ou de diplôme collégial

Expérience

5 à 7 ans dexpérience en première ligne en supervision en production fabrication logistique ou service à la clientèle.

Expérience avec les programmes formels de sécurité requise

Lexpérience CHEP est un atout.

Programmes dentretien et connaissance de lenvironnement réglementaire un atout

Compétences et connaissances :

La connaissance opérationnelle du Six Sigma de la fabrication Lean ou dautres programmes damélioration continue est un atout.

Expérience en planification de production création de relations compétences analytiques en résolution de problèmes solide capacité à faire plusieurs choses à la fois et à travailler en équipe.

Expérience en recrutement embauche discipline et processus de licenciement.

Maîtrise informatique Microsoft Office requis SAP Kronos CMMS sont des assets Langages requis Souhaitable
