Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using Microsoft SSIS and/or Microsoft Fabric Data Pipelines
  • Design and optimize workflows to extract transform and load data from various sources.
  • Ensure data quality integrity and availability for business analysts and reporting teams.
  • Collaborate with analysts to deliver modelled data dashboards and reports.
  • Troubleshoot and support existing data pipelines and integrations

Required Skills/Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science (preferably with a focus on Data Science and Analytics) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience with SQL including writing and optimizing complex queries.
  • Understanding of ETL concepts and data pipeline design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with analytics and business teams.
  • Completed Data Science coursework or certification

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS Microsoft Fabric or similar ETL tools.
  • Familiarity with IBM Cognos Power BI or other BI/reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with common Data Science libraries (e.g. Pandas NumPy Scikit-learn)
  • Knowledge of data modelling and data warehouse concepts.
  • Interest in data analytics and visualization.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of data engineering experience
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain Controlled Goods Clearance and Level II NATO Secret security clearance
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada as a Canadian Citizen Permanent Resident or holder of a valid Work Permit
