Job Summary
Role: Data Architect
Duration: 5 Months
Location & work model: Toronto ON - Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week)
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in designing data models for data lakes warehouses and Lakehouse environments.
- Strong expertise in defining data structures standards and governance frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of AWS data Lakehouse technologies including S3 Glue Iceberg Redshift and Athena.
- Strong expertise in data modeling techniques such as dimensional modeling normalized modeling and others.
- Proven ability to define and implement data governance and data standards.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data architecture solutions.
- Familiarity with performance optimization and cost management in cloud data environments.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with data engineers analysts and business stakeholders.
- Prior experience in banking or financial services is a plus.
