Customer Care Advisor Commercial and Industrial

Were looking for a Customer Care Advisor Commercial and Industrial to join our diverse & vibrant team and become part of the ATCO family.

Reporting to the Manager Commercial Operations the Customer Care Advisor is responsible for responding to and resolving commercial customer inquiries and developing relationships with third-party energy consultants and brokers in order to sell electricity to industrial and commercial customers in Alberta.

On a daily basis youll...

Support Commercial & Industrial Customers

  • Ensure resolution of customer inquiries to complete satisfaction

  • Manage customer inquiries regarding payments invoice charges invoice needs and general market questions

  • Ensure business process compliance with respect to customer set-ups

  • Assist with complex customer invoicing & account set-up and contract amendments

Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain a list of all consultants and brokers participating in the Alberta energy market

  • Be the primary representative of ATCO in the third-party market

  • Protect ATCOs brand in market by directing and influencing third party communications with end-use customers

Market Analysis & Reporting

  • Ensure accurate on time completion of all RFP/proposals with third party channels

  • Manage the relationship with the consultants and brokers

  • Provide support to commercial and Industrial sales group

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Meet specific agreed upon KPI targets for cases and customer inquiries

Who you are:

  • A customer-focused professional with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to engage with internal and external customers

  • A strong communicator with both verbal and written communication skills to produce the results required for the role

  • A high performer with a proven track record of delivering results

  • Collaborative and able to work effectively across a cross-functional team while supporting conflicting priorities and deadlines

  • Process-minded with strong business process improvement skills and the ability to translate business processes into information systems requirements

What you have:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience

  • Undergraduate degree in a related discipline

  • Thorough understanding of energy markets specifically the Alberta energy market

  • Experience providing exemplary customer service in a competitive industry

  • Experience developing presentations focused on the needs of individual customers

  • Ability to recognize and recommend new product opportunities

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to engage with internal and external customers

  • Both verbal and written communication skills will be essential in producing the results required for the role

  • Proven track record of high performance

  • An ability to work effectively across a cross-functional team while supporting conflicting priorities and deadlines

  • Strong business process improvement skills and ability to translate business processes into information systems requirements
