Job Summary

Shift: 25 hours/week - Flexibility to work various shifts based on company needs. On-Call as needed.
Pay Rate:
- $19.28/hour when working the Sorter shift
- $21.84/hour when working the Courier shift
Location: 48 Hatheway Cres Saint John NB
Courier: The Courier picks up and delivers customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules and resolves problems as they arise.
Sorter: The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination weight size and shape to meet client delivery schedules.
Courier:
- Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
- Scan packages / mail as it is received delivered or returned to the depot at the end of the day
- Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)
Sorter:
- Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
- Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
- Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
- Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
- Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
- Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery
- Completion of High School
- Completion of specific vocational courses
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- 3 years of driving experience and clean drivers abstract to drive delivery vehicles.
