We are looking to hire a Corrugator Take Off for our Hannon Plant with opportunities to support temporarily as a Corrugator Operator/Single Facer when required.

3 shifts weekly rotating days afternoons and overnight (midnights). Rotating shifts - 2 pm to 10 pm; 10 pm to 6 am; 6 am to 2 pm.

Corrugator Take off (production) Wage: Starting rate is $28.45 after 3 months $30.61; after 6 months $31.11.

The Opportunity

As a Corrugator Take Off: To safely operate and maintain Corrugator equipment and machinery (eg. Stacker; Press machinery etc.) to produce quality products per company quality policy.

What Youll do

• Follow instructions of Knife operator work as a team and be a team member
• Assist with problems and help to keep machine running to targets
• Ensure units are stacked squarely and neatly
• Re-pile sheets when required re: warp etc.
• Visually inspect and remove any non-conforming sheets
• Placement of load tags for order identification Visually and continually inspect for any non-conformances Perform quality checks before and during runs
• Make control adjustments when necessary
• Perform housekeeping as required ie: clean-up conveyor and rollers

Opportunities to support and grow into a Corrugator Operator/Single Facer. As a Corrugator Operator/Single Facer in temporary assignment we pay top rate wage of $33.49 where you will:

• Prepare the single facers for startup set all pressures required and operate single facers and run to speed and production targets this may require overtime
• Locate starch pans into run position fill with starch place roll stock into stands and position in machine feed paper through splicers then into single facers

What You Bring

• Minimum High School Diploma
• Basic Math
• Previous manufacturing experience specifically as a Corrugator Operator/Single Facer Operator will be preferred
• Machine operation skills
• Organization skills
• Good communication
• Flexibility to work weekly rotating shifts days afternoons midnights
• Team Player & self-starter
