Job Description
IKO Industries is seeking a Corporate Process Engineer to join our team of skilled professionals reporting to the Process Engineering Manager. The main objective of the role is to provide process engineering services in support of optimization and continuous improvement of our existing facilities.

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development of process engineering deliverables (PFDs mass and energy balances theory of operations P&IDs)
- Carry out process optimization studies of industrial plants with a focus on asphalt thermal oil systems and ISO/TPO plants
- Consult and negotiate with plant engineers to prepare specifications explain proposals and present engineering reports and findings
- Work alongside other engineers in capital investment projects
- Create modify and execute functional test plans of automated systems
- Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA)
- Support IKOs core values and leadership behaviours
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; . is an asset
- 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and TSSA rules and regulations is an asset
- Experience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) methods is an asset
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment
- Six Sigma certification is an asset
- Proficient in MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to manage short and long-term projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (must be fluent in English)
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Must have excellent planning and time management skills
- Must be able to travel across Canada and the United States
