Work Location: Native Shoes is a hybrid organization based in Vancouver BC. Employees located in the Greater Vancouver Area are expected to be in the office 3 days per week with flexibility during peak content moments launches and events.

About You

• Youre a hands-on content creator who knows how to turn ideas into high-performing social and ad content.
• Youve done this before; you can shoot edit write and post without needing a ton of direction.
• You understand what makes content work not just look good.
• Youre comfortable testing ideas iterating quickly and balancing brand storytelling with performance.
• Youre also eager to expand your scopewhether thats managing creators exploring new platforms or contributing to campaign ideas.
• Youre organized proactive and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can take ownership and move quickly.
  
  

Youll report to our Senior Manager Partnerships and work closely with the broader marketing team to bring Native Shoes to life across social in a way that feels natural joyful and unmistakably on brand.

What Youll Do

Content Creation & Editing

• Create shoot and edit short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram
• Comfortable being on camera
• Produce both organic content and performance-driven creative for paid ads
• Develop multiple variations of content (hooks formats edits) to support testing and optimization
• Add captions graphics and platform-native elements to maximize engagement
  
  

Social Media Execution

• Own day-to-day posting across social platforms ensuring consistency and quality
• Write clear engaging captions and on-screen copy aligned with Native Shoes brand voice
• Maintain and execute against a content calendar tied to campaigns and key moments
• Engage with community (comments DMs) to build brand affinity
  
  

Content Performance & Optimization

• Track performance of posts and videos identifying whats working and whats not
• Iterate on content based on data trends and platform best practices
• Partner with marketing and growth teams to support creative for paid campaigns
  
  

Creator & Partnerships Support

• Assist in sourcing and reaching out to creators for UGC and collaborations
• Help brief creators and manage content deliverables
• Support execution of partnerships and creator campaigns
  
  

Trend & Platform Expansion

• Stay on top of trends formats and emerging platforms
• Contribute ideas for new channels and test into them

• You prefer rigid direction over creative experimentation

What You Bring

• 24 years experience in content creation social media or a similar role
• Strong video editing skills (CapCut Premiere Pro Final Cut etc.)
• Experience creating content for TikTok and/or Instagram
• Solid understanding of what drives engagement and performance on social
• Comfortable being on camera and/or directing shoots
• Experience managing or contributing to social media accounts
• Strong copywriting skills (hooks captions basic storytelling)
• Organized detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects
  
  

Bonus Points If You

• Have worked in fashion footwear lifestyle or DTC brands
• Are a creator yourself or have grown a personal or brand account
• Have experience repurposing creator or influencer content
• Understand what makes content perform organically before its boosted
  
  

Growth & Opportunity

This role has room to grow as Native Shoes scales. Over time there is potential to evolve into a Senior Social or Content Lead position with increased creative ownership and strategic input.
