We are immediately hiring a Commercial Architectural Sales Representative to support Vancouver and Alberta with a preferred home base in Vancouver BC.

In this role youll play a critical part in connecting design and executionworking with architects and designers to secure specifications and partnering with contractors and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. Youll be a trusted advisor to customers and a key contributor to our continued growth in the region.

This is a field-based position requiring daily territory travel with occasional overnight stays. Applicants must be legally permitted to work in Canada and able to undertake occasional travel to the United States.

What You Will Do

Build Relationships & Influence Specifications

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects designers engineers and consultants
  • Deliver compelling product presentations CEUs and lunch & learns to drive specification opportunities
  • Secure specifications across key segments including healthcare hospitality commercial and retail
  • Represent ARDEX at industry events and tradeshows to build brand presence

Support Project Execution in the Field

  • Partner with contractors subcontractors and installers to ensure product acceptance and proper application
  • Provide technical guidance job start support and on-site assistance as needed
  • Support quoting and bidding with clear accurate communication
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Services Sales and Logistics teams to ensure seamless execution

Manage Projects & Pipeline

  • Track and manage project activity using A4C and other tools
  • Oversee projects from design through installation maintaining accurate and current records
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact specification retention
  • Maintain strong follow-up to keep projects moving forward
  • Participate in internal project reviews to align priorities and timelines

Drive Business Growth

  • Identify new opportunities and expand market presence within the territory
  • Monitor competitor activity and share market insights
  • Provide customer feedback to support product positioning and innovation
  • Support Global Projects Services (GPS) and architectural initiatives as appropriate

Collaborate & Communicate

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Architectural Technical Marketing and other internal teams
  • Provide consistent updates and reports to leadership
  • Participate in ARDEX training and development programs
Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales construction or architectural specification
  • Experience with flooring or tile installation systems
  • Strong presentation relationship-building and communication skills
  • Technical aptitude and comfort supporting products in both office and field environments
  • Solid understanding of construction processes and architectural specifications
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up and time management skills
  • Self-motivated proactive and results-oriented
  • High level of professionalism integrity and sound judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/project tracking tools
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel regularly within the territory including occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to travel occasionally to the United States
  • Legally permitted to work in Canada
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (with carrying up to 55 lbs)

Education

  • College degree preferred or high school diploma with relevant experience
