We are looking for aCo-op Student to join our US/Cross Border Tax teama role where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next. Your role:

• Prepare Cross-Border (US and Canadian) individual income tax returns;
• Participate in an in-depth in-house Cross-Border tax training boot-camp to equip you with the specialized skills to prepare Cross-Border tax returns;
• Collaborate with and support team members in providing excellent client service;
• Build and nurture strong working relationships with staff partners and clients;
• Participate in special projects as assigned by partner or senior staff.
  

What you bring to the table:

• Working towards or completion of a bachelors degree in commerce or business administration (Accounting major preferred)
• Working towards completion of pre-requisite courses for the CPA PEP
• Familiarity with basic accounting concepts (balance sheet income statement etc.)
• You are an excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills
• Have an interest in accounting and tax work
• Be a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail
• You have strong interpersonal skills and are an excellent problem solver
• You are proficient in and willing to learn various computer applications.
• Knowledge of Caseware/Caseview and TaxPrep is an asset (but not required)
