The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal Quebec the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).
Position summary
Department / Research Program: Womens Health Research Unit
Under the supervision of Dr. Lucy Gilbert the clinical research coordinator is responsible to conduct clinic interventions following protocols procedures and internal SOPs.
The incumbent is responsible for the regulatory aspects of multiple studies.
General Duties
Obtains ethics committee approval of protocols and ensures ethical approvals throughout the study
Maintenance of the Investigator Study File (ISF)
Schedules site initiation visits monitoring visits and follows-up with issues identified
Acts as a liaison with the sponsors representatives
Conduct other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
/ Experience Education: Bachelors Degree
Field of Study: Sciences
Work Experience: 2 years
Knowledge of French is required.
An intermediate knowledge of oral and written English is required as the position requires regular and complex contact with patients researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English.
Demonstrates adaptability skills
Capacity to work autonomously or with teams with minimum supervision
Prior experience with Nagano is an asset.
Status: Temporary full time (35-hour workweek)
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience
Work Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Work Site: Glen Site 1001 Decarie Blvd.
