Salary Range: $52.89 - $79.34 per hour
Hours: 37.5 per week
Shifts: Monday-Friday

Position Summary
As an integral member of the Health Care team the Nurse Manager provides exemplary leadership in the management of the units human and financial resources and develops implements and manages short- and long-term plans which support and advance unit site and/or corporate strategic priorities. The Nurse Manager is also accountable to ensuring that care requirements are met with appropriate competence and delivery resolves patient care issues problems and concerns. The Nurse Manager also implements and manages the units quality improvement initiatives to ensure that patients receive the best possible patient support of organizational strategies and staff satisfaction initiatives the Nurse Manager promotes the development of a motivated and cohesive team and supports educational strategies to enhance staff knowledge with respect to professional nursing practices and patient care
Duties
- As Clinical Nurse Manager your sound judgment and strong leadership abilities will enable you to lead and develop a department and program focused on delivering quality patient care.
- Oversee day-to-day operations including education quality management staff utilization financial and human resource management resolving patient care issues problems and concerns.
- You will develop and motivate a cohesive team and will identify and support educational strategies to enhance staff knowledge with respect to professional practices and patient care.
- You will need to build and continue to maintain dynamic relationships with external organizations.
Qualifications :
- Licensed with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or other Ontario regulated healthcare profession you have a Masters in Nursing or in progress
- You have at least five (5) years relevant experience in oncology care clinical and/or specialty field including three (3) to five (5) years supervisory/management expertise
- Experience with oncology patient population specifically in an ambulatory environment would be a valuable asset
- Person-centred approach to leadership and able to excel in a diverse unionized and non- unionized work environment to support and develop staff
- Data driven approach to understanding and improving practice and care delivery
- You will have successfully demonstrated your initiative judgment and leadership skills through previous projects and will now apply those same skills to improve patient care through clinical optimization implementation and support for innovative models of care gaining efficiencies while maintaining or excelling in level of excellence in care delivery
- Your organizational interpersonal and communication skills will be a prominent part of your success in recognizing analyzing and resolving problems before and as they arise
- Your proven ability to work effectively and with composure under pressure/or stressful conditions and to meet multiple and competing deadlines will be critical in this position
- You are comfortable working with computers including Microsoft Office Outlook and Excel Applications
