What youll be doing

As part of the Capital Markets Client Services Team youll play a key role in supporting our monthly reconciliation processes and annual reviews of client this co-op position youll assist analysts and other team members by managing documentation running background checks and capturing data using our workflow system. Your contributions will help ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulatory standards. Youll gain exposure to the dynamic environment of capital markets work closely with experienced professionals and develop valuable skills for your future career. This role is ideal for students pursuing a business economics or legal degree who are eager to learn and contribute in a collaborative team setting.

Important Information

  • We may ask you to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests (such as simulation coding French proficiency MS Office). Our goal for the application process is to get to know more about you all that you have to offer and give you the opportunity to learn more about us.

  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for a role.

  • This is an 8 month opportunity.

How youll succeed

  • Process Support - Assist with monthly reconciliation and annual entity review processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

  • Documentation Management - Capture organize and store relevant documentation using the workflow system.

  • Background Checks - Support the team in running background checks and maintaining proper records.

  • Analyst Assistance - Provide support to analysts as needed helping with data entry research and administrative tasks.

  • Team Collaboration - Work closely with team members to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality client services.

Who you are

  • Youre a student pursuing a relevant degree. You are currently enrolled in a business economics or legal program and are looking for a co-op opportunity to gain hands-on experience.

  • You have strong technical skills. You are comfortable using Microsoft Office with particular strength in Excel for data analysis and reporting.

  • Youre detail-oriented. You pay attention to accuracy and maintain organized records in all your work.

  • Youre a team player. You enjoy collaborating with others and supporting your colleagues to achieve shared goals.

  • You have language skills (nice to have). If you speak a European language such as Spanish French or Portuguese it would be an asset for supporting diverse clients.
