Clerical Associate Psychiatry Out

Accountabilities:

• Registration of patients
• Dealing with patients and staff within the Mental Health program
• Reception
• Telephone answering
• Word processing and other data entry/computer applications
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• Fluent in English (speaking reading writing and comprehension)
• Post-secondary education
• Transcription skills required
• Medical terminology required
• Typing skills of 45/wpm required
• Proficient in Meditech patient registration and MSM medSchedule
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel and other applications required
• Must have a minimum of one year recent related office experience
• Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to react appropriately in a crisis situation
• Must demonstrate Oslers Values of Respect Excellence Service Compassion Innovation and Collaboration
• Excellent attendance and work record
• May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites

Additional Information :

Currently Days/Evenings 8 hours including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Salary:
Minimum: $26.31 per hour
Maximum: $28.49 per hour
