WHAT YOULL DO
As a Class 1 Truck Driver youll be an independent self-motivated professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service safely and efficiently. Youll be responsible for hauling agricultural construction and heavy equipment to our customers making you a critical part of our day-to-day success.
- Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods
- Perform pre-trip en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems equipment and accessories such as tires lights and turning signals brakes and cold storage
- Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods
- A valid Class 1 Drivers License with a clean abstract is required
- Minimum of 5 years professional driving experience
- Proven experience hauling oversize machinery including farm equipment heavy equipment and over-dimensional loads
- Experience with Drop deck/low bed trailers
- Expertise in proper loading securing and transporting oversized loads in compliance with provincial regulations
