JOB DESCRIPTION

Ekkinox is seeking experienced and reliable class Class 1 drivers with at least 1 years of experience to drive a day cab truck with a flat bed trailer in Montreal and the region of Montreal. The driver should be ready to cover city LTL P&D as well based on operational needs. Work assignments will vary in demand and complexity. The terminal is located in Pointe Claire Montreal Quebec.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

• Operate and drive a 53 flat bed trailer or dry box with tailgate
• Deliver and pick up as per operational needs in Montreal and the region of Montreal
• Load and unload merchandise in a safe and secure manner
• Perform pre and post-trip before and after each trip
• Use Racks Tarps and Chains
• Driver will also perform City P&D
• Use a manual/electric pump track and tailgate to deliver or pick up freight
• Minimum 1 years of verifiable Class 1 experience or a diploma from the CFTR.
• Professional and safe attitude with excellent customer service.

OFFER AND BENEFITS

• Hourly rate starting at $30.47 per hour up to $40 per hour depending on the productivity
• Monday to Friday start time between 6 AM and 8 AM
• Weekly pay every Thursday by direct deposit
