Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the executive chef and culinary team to develop innovative and enticing menus incorporating seasonal ingredients and unique flavor combinations.
- Supervise and participate in the preparation cooking and plating of dishes ensuring they meet the highest quality and presentation standards.
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including scheduling ordering supplies and managing inventory.
- Provide guidance and support to kitchen staff including line cooks prep cooks and other team members.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance culinary skills techniques and knowledge among the kitchen staff.
- Ensure adherence to standardized recipes portion control and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency and exceed guest expectations.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences receive feedback and create memorable dining experiences.
Requirements:
- 2 years of proven experience as a Chef/Sous Chef
- Strong leadership qualities
- Quality and Detail-Oriented
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work 1-7 days a week
Compensation : $25/hr depending on your experience and skill level
Schedule:
Flexible shifts available 4 8 10 or 12 hours
Morning and evening shifts
Monday to Friday & weekend availability required
