What you will be doing:

  • Oversee the daily operation of an assigned kitchen station.
  • Prepare cook and present menu items according to established recipes specifications and presentation standards.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality taste and appearance at all times.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of mise en place and ensure readiness for service.
  • Monitor food quality throughout service and take corrective action when required.
  • Assist with menu development recipe testing and seasonal offerings as directed.
  • Ensure proper handling storage labeling and rotation of food products using FIFO practices.
  • Minimize food waste and support sustainable kitchen operations.
  • Conduct regular checks of food quality storage and cleanliness standards.
  • Report maintenance concerns equipment issues and safety hazards promptly.
  • Other duties assigned

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

  • Minimum 35 years of culinary experience in a hotel restaurant or high-volume culinary environment.
  • Culinary diploma or equivalent professional training preferred.
  • Valid Food Safe certification.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques kitchen operations and food safety practices.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced quality-driven environment.
  • Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays
