Catalogue Editor and Programs Analyst (Course & Programs), Teaching, Learning and Student Experience

Summary: Thecatalogueeditorandprogramsanalystsupports academic processes managed by thedepartment including the development revision and oversight of academic programs courses and related policies. Thisrole provides consultation and analysis on thecourse andprogramcatalogueand institutional academic procedures while interpreting complex university information for diverse positioninvolves reviewing and editing catalogue content coordinating program changes andidentifyingand resolving issues related to academic offerings. The analystalso contributes to special projects business process improvements and the implementation and maintenance of web content systems. Collaboration with academic units administrative offices and external bodies forms a central part of the role alongsidemaintaininghigh standardsof accuracy and compliance with university policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintainsaccurateprogram information within the catalogue and supports adherence to the universitys governance and approval processes in collaboration withthecolleges.
• Edits andvetscatalogue policy documents and institutional publications for accuracy and compliance.
• Administers the course module within the student information system and oversees updates to the web content management system.
• Overseesthe editing and publication of catalogue content academic websites anduniversitychannels.
• Analyzes academic programs courses and policy changes for inclusion in thecourse andprogramcatalogue.
• Interprets and communicates academic policies procedures and regulations to campus stakeholders.
• Implementsnew or revised programs and coursesin collaboration with academic and administrative units.
• Develops and refines business processes aligned with institutional priorities and regulations.
• Tracks andoversees issues usingasystemsapproach.
• Produces reports on academic programming for external organizations.
• Maintains professional relationships across the university and with external stakeholders.
• Communicates and acts in a respectful and professional manner collaborates effectively abides by policy and contributes to a positive and productive work and learning environment.
• Engages in continuous learning byparticipatingin activities training and events related to Indigenous engagement reconciliation equity diversity and inclusion.
• Demonstrates respect and dignity for all members of the community actively contributes to an environment of acceptance and inclusion ofothers andresponds to different perspectives from a place of curiosity respect and non-judgement.

Qualifications:

• A bachelors degree in a related field.
• Minimum of one year ofdirectly relatedexperience including experiencemaintainingcompeting priorities and complex projects.
• Knowledge of university academic and administrative policies regulations and governance structures.
• Ability to analyze complex academic processes and develop solutions.
• Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to support financial and human resource-related activities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong judgement discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
• Familiarity with systems such asSiRIUS Web Content Management System (Cascade) JiraAbout-US and reporting tools.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and data tools.
