Job Summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Part-Time Cashier/Postal Clerk to join our team at Sandstone Pharmacies Crescent Heights in Medicine Hat :Sort and batch incoming and outgoing mail accurately and on timeAssist customers with mail-related inquiries and servicesVerify address accuracy postage and packaging requirementsProcess transactions such as selling stamps receiving letters and handling MoneyGram servicesWeigh and calculate postage for letters and parcels; affix correct postageOperate computer systems for data entry and transaction processingPerform physical tasks including bending reaching lifting and carrying as neededMerchandising itemsMaintaining store cleanliness and standardsGreeting and upselling items to customersSupport the Front Store Manager with additional tasks as requiredQualifications:Accurate cash handling skills with strong computer and POS proficiencyPrevious customer service or cashiering experience preferred; retail and merchandising experience considered an assetClear courteous communication skills with the ability to manage conflict and solve problems effectivelyStrong multitasking abilities to serve multiple customers in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionProfessional demeanor including appropriate grooming and wearing a name tagPhysically capable of standing for long periods and performing tasks such as lifting and bending throughout the shiftThis position could include a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
