What youll be doing

When you join ourCareer Accelerator Program (CAP) you willkickstart your careerandgainthe experience necessaryto excel in diverse and impactful rolesat a leading an 18-monthrotational program with three6-monthrotations thatoffers significant flexibility for you to carve your own paththataligns withyour personal and professionalgoals and is an excellentopportunity tolaunch your career journey. As a CAP Associate you will take on rotations in a variety of areas within CIBCs Cyber Third Party and Resilience teams (Access Management Cyber Operations etc.) based on personal interest and business demand. Throughout your rotationsyou will develop knowledge aroundthe countlessroles responsibilities and inter-dependenciesfound within Information Security at CIBCthrough challenging assignments androtationexperiences all to inform where your career will take you post program at additionto your day-to-dayrotation workyou will have the opportunity topursue your interestsand passions by gettinginvolved in meaningfulprogram-specificwork such asinternal program committees peer-to-peer committees training opportunities joiningCAP you will beset up for success with comprehensive orientationbe givenaccess to amentorship program and many individual and group learning opportunities.

How youll succeed

  • Passionfor Cyber Third Party Risk and Resilience:You are inspired by the changing landscape of information security andmaintain a good understandingof or have a strong curiosity and desire to learn aboutemerging trends in financial services technology innovations and client experience are proficient in MS-office suite tools (Word PowerPoint Excel etc.)

  • Collaboration:You enjoy collaborating with a team to come up with innovative solutions to a problem that will make a difference and are able toestablish partnerships across teams to get your work done.

  • Communication:You haveexcellent verbal and written communication are not afraid to ask questionsand toseek clarityon what is required of you in your rotations.

** Important Information **

  • You must have graduated(in 2024 or 2025)or are graduating in2026from a post-secondary institution with a degree in Business Technology or Science and would like to pursue a career within Cyber Security. Advanced degrees (Masters level and above) preferred.

  • Completing or having completed a CIBC co-op term is an asset(not mandatory).
