Job Summary
Call Centre Billing Representative
Build valuable experience within the insurance industry while supporting customers and internal stakeholders through efficient billing services. Work in a dynamic environment where communication teamwork and customer satisfaction are at the core of everyday activities.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $19.56.
5-month contract.
Full-time position 37.5 hours per week with rotating shifts.
Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm and Saturday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm including evenings and weekends as scheduled.
Hybrid schedule requiring 3 days per week in the Markham office subject to change.
Responsibilities:
Handle approximately 50 inbound calls per day related to billing inquiries.
Provide customer service to Licensed Insurance Advisors Contact Centre staff Insurance Branch staff and customers.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with insurance partners and underwriters.
Act as a company ambassador while supporting inbound billing inquiries.
Communicate clearly effectively and empathetically with customers by phone and email to resolve issues.
Interpret and identify customer needs and respond appropriately and professionally.
Gather relevant information systematically to provide a seamless customer experience.
Take ownership of customer relationships through service and commitment to follow through on inquiries.
What you will need to succeed:
Required qualifications
1 to 2 years of experience in a contact centre environment preferably within the insurance or banking industry.
Professional telephone and email communication skills and etiquette.
Proficiency with word processing applications Microsoft Excel web-based programs and Windows applications.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a clear and supportive approach.
Ability to analyze and resolve customer concerns through effective problem-solving.
