Business Systems Analyst

The Business System Analyst is responsible for reporting data integrity and testing to ensure security of data and compliance in terms of system functionality. This role is a subject matter expert on our dispatch systems and internal reporting tools.

• Configure manage maintain and continuously improve the business application in support of business process
• Ensure that all applicable system features and functionality are leveraged
• Provide subject matter knowledge and problem-solving abilities
• Manage environment to ensure integrity performance accessibility and recoverability of data.
• Day to Day monitoring and reporting on the use and utilization of and the quality of the data within the system
• Supports application life cycle work which can include patching upgrades testing etc.
• Develop and deliver user training
• In-house first level support to resolve application or data issues
• Develop and deliver ad hoc reporting in support of user community and leadership
• Work with visual analytics tools to produce insight from operational system

• Undergraduate Degree preferred
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Super user of Cognos and TMW
• Demonstrates high attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and pivot from one initiative to the next
• Can manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Must be team oriented and an independent self-starter
• Experience in Transportation & Logistics Industry would be considered an asset
