Business Intelligence Student

Our internships and Co-ops are designed to provide you with a business relevant project that will allow you to independently manage your own area of responsibility while receiving support from an assigned Supervisor and Technical Mentor. Well help you discover your strengths and
development areas in a challenging fun and supportive work environment.

We are seeking a student to join us for an 8 month co-op position starting in September 2026. This position will be based out of Calgary Edmonton Winnipeg or Vancouver.

Collaborate with the team to gather analyze and interpret data from multiple sourcesincluding databases spreadsheets and other relevant platforms.
Assist in developing and implementing data collection processes data cleansing and datavalidation procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Help create reports dashboards and visualizations to present data findings in a clear andmeaningful manner for business stakeholders.
Conduct data analysis to identify patterns trends and insights that can be used to drivestrategic decision-making and operational improvements.
Assist in monitoring and evaluating business performance metrics and KPIs to trackprogress and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations andsupport ad-hoc data requests from various departments.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends best practices and emerging technologies in the fieldof business intelligence and analytics.

You are currently enrolled in Computer Science Data Analytics Data Science or
equivalent program
You will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship andpossess a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Ability to lead and operate within an environment where change happens frequently
Ability to forge grow and maintain positive relationships

Residency or a valid work permit which would allow you to work for Bird Construction or
one of our wholly owned subsidiaries
