You Are:

Under limited supervision implement test documents and supports self-service business intelligence tools including analytics visualization reporting technologies and processes within the Self-Service Analytics team. Is in the process of broadening those capabilities as well as broadening knowledge of data warehouse and big data technologies and processes.

The opportunity:

Support and enable business intelligence and analytics user base troubleshoot and answer user questions and assist BI Lead on training/best practice learning sessions gather and analyze requirements and pain points in support of business intelligence user needs.

Assist users to apply existing standards processes and procedures for optimizing the use of Tableau and Power BI.

Assist capability lead to document knowledgebase materials like FAQ and error catalog.

Assist capability lead to document implement and automate process improvements to reduce KTLO support.

Manage Power BI and Tableau user access and licenses.

Assist capability lead on administering Tableau Server and Power BI Service.

Assist Tableau and Power BI to deploy manage govern and tune their solutions.

Work with the rest of the Self-Service Analytics Center of Excellence (SSACOE) team on initiatives that relate to business intelligence and analytics self-service strategy. Perform other duties as prioritized and assigned.

What you need:

Bachelors degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent education/ experience.

1 Years business intelligence or relevant experience.

Experience in Kimball dimensional modeling.

1 years experience with semantic layers cubes/ extracts and scheduling technologies as well as analytic visualization and reporting technologies.

Desire to develop Data Analysis experience.

Preferred: Masters degree in arts/sciences (MA/MS)

Preferred Skills and Abilities

Required: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Advanced interpersonal skills including the ability to build consensus.

Ability to solve moderately complex problems drawing upon technical experience precedents and judgement.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Strong communication skills including the ability to explain complex information in straightforward situations Tableau Server and Desktop Power BI SQL has experience working with various database platform like Snowflake Vertica Oracle SQL Server etc.

Preferred: Python Tableau and Power BI API

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location role skill set education and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote - Canada

Compensation Range: $95000-$119000

Benefits

Full-time regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) paid holidays and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. All Canadian employees who work in a province territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
