Bakery Clerk Red River Co-op at St. Norbert Food Store

The Opportunity:

Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of Bakery Clerkat Selkirk Food Store located at 3477 Pembina Hwy in Winnipeg Manitoba.This position reports to the Bakery Manager. The Bakery Clerk adds value to our Co-operative by delivering world-class customer service that is fast friendly and efficient.

Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:

• Bake and package baked goods including bread buns cookies etc.

• Maintain sections of merchandise (commercial bread in-store baked product bulk bins) asassigned in an effective manner. Ensure first-in first-out rotation is followed at all times and that close-dated product is reported to the Bakery Manager.

• Ensure the Bakery Department is properly stocked with merchandise and faced at all times.

• Receive inspect and store orders upon delivery to ensure all product is immediately stored in proper temperature-controlled environment.

• Package baked goods including bread buns cookies etc.

• Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure department image and safety standards are followed.

• Strong customer focus and interest in serving others.
• Experience working in a retail grocery environment would be an asset.

• Willing to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends.
