About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Bulk Truck Driver to join our clients transportation team in Thunder Bay Ontario. This role involves transporting various bulk commodity materials with most trips consisting of highway driving. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong driving skills professionalism and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service while following all safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport bulk commodities to designated destinations primarily through highway routes.
- Operate bulk transport vehicles and trailer combinations in accordance with road safety regulations and company procedures.
- Perform physical tasks associated with bulk hauling including climbing ladders and operating tarping equipment.
- Secure loads properly and ensure cargo is protected during transportation.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers at pickup and delivery locations.
- Complete all required shipping documents delivery records and other transportation paperwork accurately.
- Conduct work independently while maintaining communication with dispatch and relevant team members.
- Follow all applicable transportation laws safety standards and operational guidelines.
- Maintain a clean safe and professional work environment.
- Valid Ontario Class AZ drivers licence in good standing.
- Clean driving record and satisfactory driving history.
- Previous experience operating Super B bulk or long-combination vehicles is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and manage driving responsibilities effectively.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and responsible vehicle operation.
- Professional attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to perform the physical duties required for bulk transportation including climbing ladders and handling tarping equipment.
- Reliable organized and capable of completing required documentation accurately.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $70000 to $90000

Pay: $70000.00-$90000.00 per year
