Role Description
We are seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer with strong experience in AWS data platforms infrastructure and automation to build and scale data solutions supporting enterprise data products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with AWS Lake Formation S3 Glue Spark Athena Terraform and serverless AWS services.
Key Responsibilities
- Build launch and scale Data Factory Platform as a Service (DFPaaS) across data product producers.
- Establish consistent tooling and frameworks for building high-quality interoperable data products.
- Design and implement AWS data infrastructure using Lake Formation S3 Glue Data Catalog EMR/EC2 Athena and Spark.
- Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Strengthen data entitlement access management and governance using IAM and IAM Identity Center.
- Enable self-service data subscription and data sharing through the Data Portal.
- Improve data discovery through catalog organization content tagging and search capabilities.
- Develop event-driven and serverless solutions using Lambda EventBridge SNS SQS and API Gateway.
- Support low-latency data solutions and scalable data platform capabilities.
- Contribute to platform reliability automation security and operational efficiency.
- Support AWS data visualization and analytics capabilities using Amazon QuickSight.
