Auxiliary, Theatre Costumes

The School of Creative Arts invites applications for an on-call auxiliary position. The general duties are as follows:

• Attend production meetings when required
• Assist and collaborate with the department regarding preliminary designs
• Execution of designs
• Assist student costume designers and/or assistants.
• Possess knowledge of fabrics and fashion history designing constructing costumes (sewing dyeing altering etc.) thrifting and sourcing
• Show run preparation
• Create a costume tracking sheet
• Plan and prepare students for quick changes
• Costume maintenance
• Washing ironing steaming repairs
