If youre newer to the industry but have the right attitude and are eager to learn were happy to help you develop your Your Day Will Look LikeHelping customers with their automotive parts needs and answering questions in person over the phone and by emailWorking with technicians and Service Advisors to identify and source the right partsUsing dealership systems and manufacturer catalogues to research part numbers and availabilityPreparing estimates and providing customers with pricing and expected delivery datesOrdering parts and following up on outstanding orders and special requestsProcessing invoices returns credits and special ordersReceiving deliveries and making sure incoming parts are checked labelled and put away correctlyPulling and organizing parts for upcoming service and repair workKeeping inventory information up to date and helping identify missing or incorrect inventoryCommunicating with suppliers when parts need to be sourced or orders require follow-upKeeping the parts counter storage areas and department organized and presentableSupporting the Service Department by helping keep repairs moving efficientlyProtecting customer and dealership information and maintaining a professional level of confidentialityTaking on additional responsibilities as needed to support the departmentWhat We Are Looking ForWere looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of getting the details parts experience is an asset particularly within a dealership environmentFamiliarity with vehicle parts and basic automotive systemsStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsExcellent attention to detailThe ability to stay organized while handling multiple requestsGood computer skills and the ability to learn dealership and parts-management systemsClear and professional communication skillsThe ability to work well with Technicians Service Advisors customers and suppliersA dependable and positive approach to workA willingness to learn and contribute to a team environmentThis position includes both desk-based and hands-on responsibilities.
