Associate Underwriting Analyst – TPA (12 Month Term)

• Prepare and deliver TPA program reviews including performance summaries loss trends pricing adequacy and key metrics

• Aggregate and validate data from TPAs internal systems to ensure data integrity and consistency

• Produce recurring reports (every 3/6/10 months) to support portfolio monitoring and client discussions

• Translate complex data into clear actionable insights for underwriting and leadership teams

• Develop and maintain standardized templates and reporting tools to improve efficiency and consistency

• Identify process gaps and partner with stakeholders to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort

• Support the design and implementation of automation solutions (e.g. dashboarding automated data pipelines report generation)

• Document existing reporting processes and contribute to the development of future-state automated frameworks

• Assist with ad hoc analyses audits and special projects related to TPA performance and underwriting strategy

• Bachelors degree in Business Finance Actuarial Science Data Analytics or related field

• 13 years of experience in insurance underwriting TPA program management or insurance analytics/reporting

• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables lookups data manipulation); ability to work with large datasets

• Exposure to automation tools or programming (e.g. VBA Power Automate Python SQL) is an asset

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to reconcile and validate multiple data sources

• Excellent communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The base salary range for this position is $45000 - $585000 per annum.

This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training.
