Associate Underwriting Analyst – TPA (12 Month Term)
Job Summary
This is a fixed-term position with potential for extension or permanent dependent on business needs.
Prepare and deliver TPA program reviews including performance summaries loss trends pricing adequacy and key metrics
Aggregate and validate data from TPAs internal systems to ensure data integrity and consistency
Produce recurring reports (every 3/6/10 months) to support portfolio monitoring and client discussions
Translate complex data into clear actionable insights for underwriting and leadership teams
Develop and maintain standardized templates and reporting tools to improve efficiency and consistency
Identify process gaps and partner with stakeholders to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort
Support the design and implementation of automation solutions (e.g. dashboarding automated data pipelines report generation)
Document existing reporting processes and contribute to the development of future-state automated frameworks
Assist with ad hoc analyses audits and special projects related to TPA performance and underwriting strategy
Bachelors degree in Business Finance Actuarial Science Data Analytics or related field
13 years of experience in insurance underwriting TPA program management or insurance analytics/reporting
Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables lookups data manipulation); ability to work with large datasets
Exposure to automation tools or programming (e.g. VBA Power Automate Python SQL) is an asset
Strong attention to detail with the ability to reconcile and validate multiple data sources
Excellent communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The base salary range for this position is $45000 - $585000 per annum.
This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training.
