Who Are We Looking For

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 02 years of relevant internship or co-op experience; or 35 years of relevant experience in software development or application support

Technical Skills

• Foundational knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java Python C# or similar)
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Exposure to scripting automation or API development through coursework or projects (e.g. PowerShell shell scripting)
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle concepts (Agile DevOps)
• Experience working with APIs integrations and enterprise systems is an asset
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines cloud platforms or modern DevOps practices is an asset

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of cloud technologies or modern data platforms

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other addition to Base Pay eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
