We are working with an established and design-focused architectural practice who are looking to appoint a Design Architect to join their growing studio in Woodstock.

The practice has built a strong reputation for delivering considered innovative and contextually responsive architecture with a portfolio spanning bespoke residential properties new-build homes developer schemes conservation and listed buildings.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Architect or experienced Part II Architectural Assistant with strong design ability to join a close-knit team and play an active role in developing projects from initial concepts through to planning and delivery.

The Role of an Architect:

  • Developing creative and considered architectural designs from initial concept through to planning and technical stages.
  • Working across a varied portfolio of residential projects including bespoke homes new-build developments extensions and refurbishments.
  • Developing design proposals that respond sensitively to the surrounding context landscape and existing buildings.
  • Producing high-quality architectural drawings presentations and design information.
  • Preparing and developing planning applications and supporting documentation.
  • Creating 3D models visualisations and presentation material to communicate design proposals to clients.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their brief and develop creative design solutions.
  • Collaborating with the wider architectural and technical team to develop projects through the RIBA stages.

Essential Qualifications needed for this Architect role:

  • Qualified Architect or experienced Part II Architectural Assistant.
  • Strong architectural design skills with a good eye for proportion detail and materiality.
  • Previous UK architectural practice experience.
  • Experience working on residential projects would be advantageous.
  • A genuine interest in design-led architecture and creating high-quality buildings.
  • Good understanding of the UK planning system and architectural design process.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with 3D modelling and visualisation software.
  • Revit/BIM experience would be advantageous.
