Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Application Administrators to support enterprise applications within a Banking / Financial Services (BFSI) environment. This role is responsible for the administration maintenance and support of business-critical applications ensuring high availability performance and compliance with regulatory and security standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise combined with experience in regulated environments supporting applications across production and non-production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Application Support & Administration
Administer configure and support enterprise applications (COTS and/or in-house systems)
Monitor application performance availability and system health
Perform routine maintenance upgrades and patching activities
Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors
Environment Management
Manage application environments across development testing and production
Support deployments releases and configuration changes
Maintain system stability and ensure minimal downtime
Incident & Problem Management
Respond to incidents perform root cause analysis and implement fixes
Work closely with infrastructure database and network teams to resolve issues
Ensure timely resolution aligned with SLAs
Security & Compliance
Ensure applications comply with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements
Support access management audits and control processes
Assist with vulnerability remediation and patch compliance
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain system documentation runbooks and standard operating procedures
Provide regular status updates reporting and operational metrics
Support audit requests and maintain evidence documentation
Required Qualifications
37 years of experience in application administration or production support roles
Mandatory experience within Banking or regulated Financial Services environments
Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and support processes
Experience working with enterprise applications (e.g. ERP CRM trading or internal systems)
Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments and basic database concepts (SQL/Oracle)
Experience with incident problem and change management processes
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk Dynatrace AppDynamics)
Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell Shell or Python)
Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of ITIL processes
Experience supporting audit and compliance activities
Key Competencies
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-availability environment
Attention to detail and operational discipline
Additional Requirements
Prior experience in Banking or regulated BFSI environments is non-negotiable
