About the Role
As a Commercial Optimization Co-op Student youll support day-to-day decisions and long-term strategy across AltaGas Midstream platform. Working with all other front-office teams Commercial Optimization focuses on creating value through collaboration partnership and rigorous analysis. This role is ideal for students who enjoy solving complex problems working in a dynamic environment and applying their skills to real-world business challenges.
What Youll Do
- Support large-scale modelling efforts for AltaGas LPG Exports Supply and Marketing businesses
- Prepare analyze and distribute various daily weekly and monthly reports
- Contribute to building new analytical methods and associated processes
- Assist other front-office & planning teams as necessary
What Youll Bring:
- Currently enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree in Economics Computer Science Mathematics Engineering Business Finance or a related field
- Strong analytical and modelling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel
- A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency practical problem-solving and delivering effective solutions
- A strong desire to learn with the confidence to ask thoughtful questions and build a deeper understanding of the business
