Aircraft Loads Engineer
Job Summary
- Conduct extensive simulations to determine precise external aircraft design loads.
- Build and maintain low- and high-fidelity modeling frameworks to support comprehensive loads analysis.
- Create automated analysis frameworks to drive engineering cycle efficiencies.
- Develop non-linear actuator modeling tools to support Transport Canada certification mandates.
- Utilize a wide range of commercial and proprietary engineering environments including a 6-DOF aircraft simulator.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace specialization preferred).
- Deep aerospace industry experience focused directly on external loads analysis and nonlinear modeling.
- Solid understanding of aircraft flight dynamics unsteady aerodynamics and aeroelastic phenomena (flutter LCO).
- Mastery of programming and scientific computing using C Fortran MATLAB and Python including version control (Git). - Strong familiarity with finite element analysis systems particularly Nastran.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident. - Bilingual fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
