Agile Scrum Master
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings sprint planning sprint review and sprint retrospective.
- Support Product Owners by assisting with backlog management and ensuring the team understands the product goals and scope.
- Remove blockers by identifying and eliminating obstacles that impact the teams progress.
- Promote Agile practices and ensure that the team follows the Scrum Framework and adheres to Agile principles.
- Track progress and monitor team performance through key metrics and ensure transparency in the development process.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement encouraging team members to suggest and implement improvements.
- Communicate project status risks and issues to stakeholder
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices as well as software development processes and cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to facilitate and collaborate effectively in cross-functional matrixed teams.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira or similar project management platforms.
- Scrum Master certification (e.g. CSM PSM).
- Experience leading projects in financial data or capital markets domains.
This position is based in Toronto Canada offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office subject to change) providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $91000 - $129000. In addition to base salary Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive) and equity (long-term incentive) comprehensive benefits and opportunity for growth.
