Agile Scrum Master

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings sprint planning sprint review and sprint retrospective.
• Support Product Owners by assisting with backlog management and ensuring the team understands the product goals and scope.
• Remove blockers by identifying and eliminating obstacles that impact the teams progress.
• Promote Agile practices and ensure that the team follows the Scrum Framework and adheres to Agile principles.
• Track progress and monitor team performance through key metrics and ensure transparency in the development process.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement encouraging team members to suggest and implement improvements.
• Communicate project status risks and issues to stakeholder

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices as well as software development processes and cloud technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to facilitate and collaborate effectively in cross-functional matrixed teams.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira or similar project management platforms.

• Scrum Master certification (e.g. CSM PSM).
• Experience leading projects in financial data or capital markets domains.

This position is based in Toronto Canada offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office subject to change) providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
