About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Health and Safety the Administrative AssistantHealthand Safetyprovideskey administrative support to the Line Creek Health and Safety department including responsibilities related to access control.

You are highly organized able to manage multiple priorities while effectively handling stress and resolving conflicts. As a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement you alsodemonstrateintegrity and excellent communication skills tailored to different audiences.

In this role you will:
  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
  • Manage access control for all personnel entering and exiting the site to ensure security and regulatory compliance
  • Assistin the preparation and submission of various safety reports including Streamline andSitelinedata injury and incident statistics Controllers Reports First Aid Reports and Flash Reports
  • Provide administrative support for Health and Safety programs including the coordination and distribution of specialized personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previousadministrative experience in an industrial environment
  • Proficiencyin advanced Excel functions and Power BI along with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
  • Experience with writing reports and data entry is considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent
$59000 - $73000 a year
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidates relevant experience skills and competencies and considers internal equity.
