Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician Tax on a full-time permanent basis on our Commodity Tax team.

This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon Saskatchewan.

If youre a motivated team player who enjoys building relationships collaborating across departments and bringing people together toward a common goal this could be the role for you.

What youll do:

  • Prepare and file monthly PST GST and ecology returns as well as respond to any queries from stakeholders.
  • Handle correspondence between departments retails government and ecology programs.
  • Prepare IFTA reports and remittances based on fleet use in each province.
  • Review new item set ups to ensure proper tax treatment by reviewing PST GST and ecology rates on government and other stakeholders websites.
  • Other duties as required.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:

  • Have 1 year of related accounting experience.
  • Have a high school diploma and four (4) progressive financial accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution.
