Accounting Specialist

Lightform is growing and our accounting team needs togrow with it. Were looking for an experienced accounting professional to ownour accounts payable with precision and help modernize our workflows. Youllwork closely with our Controller Assistant Controller and purchasing teamand youll have a real voice in improving tools controls and processes.

Own the full AP cycle: invoice intake coding three-waymatching approvals and payment runs

Ensure payments are accurate properly supported on time andoptimized for early-pay discounts

Reconcile vendor statements resolve discrepancies and maintainstrong vendor relationships

Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations including foreigncurrency transactions

Maintain GL accounts and support accruals and month-end close

Identify and lead improvements such as AP automation electronicapprovals EFT workflows and better ERP utilization

Support the Controller and Assistant Controller with reportingaudits and special projects

3 years of accounting experience with a strong AP foundationand exposure to GL or month-end

Exceptional attention to detail you catch coding errorspricing mismatches duplicates and missing documentation

Solid understanding of the full accounting cycle and how APimpacts reporting and controls

ERP experience and strong Excel skills; AP automation orworkflow tools are an asset

A track record of improving a process or implementing a new tool

Clear communication strong organization and comfort workingindependently or with a team
