Duties: Responsible for ensuring confidentiality with respect to all information obtained in the performance of cheques for payment to suppliers in a timely manner including matching up purchase orders and invoices. Coordinate and process Travel Expense and Travel Advance claims Professional Development Request claims Elder Honorariums/Guest Lecturer Request claims and Contract payments ensuring proper approval prior to issuing finance system including data entry on a daily with student account inquiriesAssists with the preparation of variance reports and financial the filing system for the Finance holiday relief in a back-up capacity for the Accounting Officer(s).Perform other related duties as :Education & ExperienceCertificate in Business Administration with an Accounting focus or an Accounting least 1 year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities Abilities and Skills required:Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and ability to meet regular to work independently with minimum organizational interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in the use of personal computers and related finance software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Access Power Point and Outlook).Ability to speak a First Nations language or has experience/education in accounting would be an and appreciation of First Nation values norms and Range: APT Grade 3 ($58234 - $78342)If you are interested in this opportunity please apply online at .
