Accounting Co-op (12-Month Term)

• Reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Preparing various reports pertaining to our monthly reporting package.
• Creating and processing general journal entries.
• Preparing tire levy returns.
• Utilizing Query and Excel as part of the above duties.
• Clerical duties supporting the activities of the accounting group such as summarizing data verifying data to source documents assembling and distributing financial reports.

• Possess a solid understanding of accounting concepts.
• Have a strong working knowledge of spreadsheet software (Excel preferred).
• Display solid problem solving and organizational skills.
• Have excellent communication skills both written and oral.

• Enrolled in a business program with an accounting focus preference will be given to students who have completed two years of study.
