Accountant

A respected public accounting firm in Woodstock NB is looking for a driven Accountant to join their professional team. This role is well suited for a CPA professional early in their post-CFE career who enjoys working closely with clients and gaining broad exposure across audit and assurance engagements.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

• Participate in audit review and compilation engagements for a range of clients
• Prepare financial statements working papers and supporting documentation
• Assist with financial reporting compliance and year-end engagements
• Work directly with clients to gather information and respond to inquiries
• Support managers and partners in delivering high-quality client service
• Contribute to engagement completion within established timelines

• CPA designation completed or in progress
• 13 years of public accounting experience following CFE completion
• Strong audit and assurance experience within a public practice environment
• Experience with private companies and owner-managed businesses considered an asset
• Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Familiarity with accounting and audit software
