Branco Management is expanding its environmental and hazardous-material abatement operations in Nova Scotia. We are looking for experienced certified abatement professionals to join our growing team.
Opportunities are available for experienced Abatement Technicians Lead Hands and Foremen. Compensation will be based on experience qualifications and the level of responsibility assigned.
What Youll Do
Perform asbestos and hazardous-material abatement
Set up and maintain regulated work areas and containment systems
Follow project-specific procedures and applicable safety regulations
Use required respiratory protection and personal protective equipment
Complete decontamination and waste-handling procedures
Work effectively with supervisors and other crew members
Maintain clean safe and organized work areas
Travel to projects throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick
Lead crews and coordinate daily activities when assigned to a leadership position
Requirements
What Were Looking For
Previous asbestos or hazardous-material abatement experience
Valid asbestos abatement certification
Strong understanding of safe abatement procedures
Dependable safety-focused and willing to work as part of a team
Ability to perform physically demanding work
Willingness to travel throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick
Availability to work varying schedules based on project requirements
Leadership experience is an asset for Lead Hand and Foreman applicants
