Job Summary
Inventa is a leader in the design creation and execution of innovative brand experiences from large-scale events and national experiential tours to grassroots local executions. Now in our 29th year we are at the forefront of experiential marketing and the event space.
An exciting gaming brand activation is coming to Alberta - CF Chinook Centre Calgary this holiday season!
Were building a team of Brand Ambassadors Team Leads and Supervisors to help bring a newly launched gaming system and recently released titles to life through an interactive in-mall sampling experience.
Our team will work alongside trained brand representatives to guide guests through game sampling and other fun family-friendly activities while creating memorable experiences for fans of all ages. Team members will also help track key metrics and consumer feedback maintain the activation space and support basic troubleshooting throughout the day.
To excel in this role you will have excellent communication and networking skills in addition to having full availability for training and shifts (outlined below). Previous experience as a Brand Ambassador and in leadership roles; must be comfortable with heavy lifting standing for long hours and experience with the setup and teardown of footprints; open to handling pivots with professionalism and a proactive attitude.
BRAND AMBASSADOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the shift start fully prepared in approved attire and fit to perform the Services.
Engage confidently and professionally with the public delivering key messaging accurately and consistently.
Represent the program positively respectfully and professionally with guests clients and team members.
Participate in set-up and takedown including the safe unpacking and repacking of assets and equipment.
Support and manage guest entry and exit lines as directed by the Team Lead or Supervisor to maintain an efficient flow through the activation footprint.
Support with entry scans and the collection of exit surveys from guests as directed.
Follow approved messaging safety rules company standards policies procedures and Code of Conduct.
Complete required reports invoices timesheets and rehire forms accurately and on time.
Report hazards incidents delays or concerns promptly and escalate issues to the Team Lead or Supervisor as needed.
Protect confidential information and Inventa/client property.
Follow reasonable instructions from Team Leads Supervisors Accounts Team and Clients and perform other duties as assigned.
TEAM LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all Brand Ambassador responsibilities listed above in addition to the Team Lead responsibilities below.
Provide leadership direction and support to Brand Ambassadors throughout the activation.
Coordinate team positioning set-up takedown and onsite activities.
Ensure the team follows approved messaging program procedures safety requirements and company standards.
Support the Supervisor in managing guest entry and exit lines directing Brand Ambassadors as needed to maintain efficient daily guest flow through the activation footprint.
Support and coordinate entry scans and exit survey collection helping ensure required guest metrics are captured accurately.
Monitor attendance performance and team readiness providing direction or corrective action as needed.
Act as the primary onsite point of contact for Brand Ambassadors and support the team with guest or operational challenges.
Communicate staffing concerns incidents operational issues and important updates to the Supervisor or Accounts Team.
Ensure assets equipment and client property are handled safely and appropriately.
Ensure required onsite reports and information are completed accurately and submitted on time.
Follow reasonable instructions from Supervisors Accounts Team and Clients and perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform and oversee all Brand Ambassador & Team Leader responsibilities listed above in addition to the Supervisor responsibilities below.
Maintain timely flow of communication within field representatives managers and Inventa departments to ensure all program objectives are met and ultimately surpassed.
Maintain excellent communication with the Account Coordinator/Executive on the status of program activities.
Leverage strong attention to detail organization and clear respectful communication to collaborate efficiently with the accounts team and in-field staff and stakeholders while ensuring accuracy in all deliverables. Demonstrate strong knowledge of games and product details to support program success and team alignment.
Adapt quickly in dynamic environments while remaining calm under pressure making informed decisions that support both team performance and client expectations. Provide respectful and efficient guidance to staff fostering a positive and productive team culture.
Responsible for driving parking and picking up/dropping off rental vehicles.
Complete all weekly program reports including the review of daily recaps for the team in a timely and efficient manner (photos metrics comments highlights lowlights and staff feedback) ensuring all deadlines are met with accuracy.
Ensure the intellectual property and proprietary information of the company are protected and confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Ensure team evaluations are completed for all field representatives and submitted on time in collaboration with Account Coordinator and Executive
Maintain a strong on-site presence and team focus to support execution and performance.
Delegate tasks effectively among team members to ensure smooth operations while motivating the team through long work stretches to keep everyone focused engaged and on taskparticularly in high-demand environments such as Toronto activations.
Create and manage break schedules (if not managed by Team Lead) to maintain coverage.
Make quick informed decisions regarding logistics footprint giveaways and operational adjustments with the ability to action changes quickly and accurately while balancing team and client needs.
Actively participate across all execution phases including set-up teardown and maintaining site cleanliness.
Step in to cover Brand Ambassador roles during breaks as needed to maintain high-quality operations.
Demonstrate strong technical comfort with systems and tools required for reporting communication and program execution.
Brand Ambassador Team Leader & Supervisor Requirements:
A drivers license and access to a vehicle are mandatory requirements for supervisors.
Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality service environment.
Arriving at the event on time and by own means
Comfortable with heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Friendly approachable and outgoing personality.
Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
